What is a keloid?
A “Keloid” is a firm rubbery lesion
In other words, a keloid is an excessive skin growth over a wound. This scar tissue ends up rubbery to the touch and at times it might even be bigger than the length of the scar. In normal cases, the healing on wound would be soft and near invisible scar lines. Yet, keloid can grow on any area of the body. Keloids are harmless to the health, they may create cosmetic concerns.
